Aims :

1. To raise the profile of Maori and kapahaka in the Tawa Community
2. To provide an opportunity for existing kapahaka groups in the Tawa Community to have a performance event to work towards.
3. To provide an opportunity for whanau to support their tamariki in a public performance of kapahaka in the local community.
4. To assist with the raising of funds for Mana Tiaki to be able to provide service and support for Maori students and their whanau in the community.
5. To provide an opportunity for the Tawa community and whanau to come together in a way that is cohesive and supportive of Tikanga Maori.
